DO NOT rely on Mapquest or Google maps to get here.  We are located in a remote area and their map routes are sometimes not accurate.  We have provided detailed driving directions.  Just print them out and bring them along as well as an old fashioned folded paper map or atlas :) I can't even tell you the number of times folks have gotten lost because they did not follow our website directions.  If you're coming in groups be sure to relay this important information to the other members of your party.

From St Louis: 

*Take 55 south (Memphis) out of St Louis to Hy 67 which is exit 174B (don't take business 67). 

*Take Hy 67 south to Hy32 going west (there will be a Gas station there-fill up your car).

*Go 19 miles to the end which is Caledonia.

*Turn LEFT, go thru Caledonia 4 miles to where Hy 32 turns to the RIGHT (there will be a school on the right).

*Go 7 miles to Junction A

*Turn LEFT at A and follow it 8 miles to the end. (This will be quite curvy and hilly).

*At the end turn RIGHT on Hy 49.

*Go 3 miles up to a gravel road which is County Road 66.

*Turn a hard LEFT onto the road and follow it till it Y's.

*Go RIGHT at the Y. 1/2 mile down, we are the first mailbox.

*Check in here. Koinania Cottage is next house down. 

From Kansas City, Columbia Area: 

*Take Hy 44 to the Cuba exit

*Go South on Hy 19 to Hy 49 

*At Cherryville, take Hy 49 South through Viburnum, (Viburnum has the last gas and grocery stores before our place).

*Continue on Hy 49 South, (at Bixby Hy 32/49 turn LEFT)

*On Hy 32/49 go about 6 miles or so to Hy 49 South towards Lesterville.

*Turn RIGHT towards Lesterville but go only 6 miles (set your odometer to watch for 6 miles)

*You will come to a dirt road on your RIGHT, this is County Road 66. You will pass County Road 69.  There is a Steep Grade sign at the road entrance of 66 (Sign is of Truck going downhill)

*Turn RIGHT onto the road and follow it down the hill till it Y's.

*Go RIGHT at the Y. Drive 1/2 mile down, we are the first mailbox.

*Check in here. Koinania Cottage is next house down.
